DTC P1622: Fuel Run Out: Notes

  1. DTC detecting condition: 

    Immediately at fault recognition

    Trouble symptom: 

    Engine does not start

    CAUTION:
    • If DTC P1622 is detected, failsafe that stops engine drive may be triggered. In that case, motor drive is performed and SOC is reduced as HV battery is not charged. Note that READY ON is not possible if HV battery runs out due to reduction in SOC.
    • If READY ON is not possible due to HV battery depletion, charge HV battery.
    • DTC P300000 or P300016 of HV battery may be output due to HV battery depletion.

    NOTE:
  1. CHECK FUEL LEVEL  .

    Check the fuel gauge display.

    Is the fuel meter indication higher than the "Lower" level?

    Yes:  Clear the memory to complete. Ref. to COMMON (DIAG)>CLEAR MEMORY .

    No:  Refill the fuel so that fuel meter indication is higher than the "Lower" level.
