Warning Light Does Not Illuminate

Detecting condition:
- Hybrid fail lamp faulty
- Short or open circuit between Hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly and combination meter
- Grounding circuit is faulty.
- Hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly is faulty
- Connector connection is improper.
CAUTION:
Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to P-HEV HYBRID POWERTRAIN CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
- CHECK LAN SYSTEM
.
Perform the diagnosis for LAN system. Ref. to LAN SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS) (HEV)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .
Is the check result OK?
Yes: Go to 2.
No: Perform the inspection according to the diagnosis for LAN system.
- CHECK FOR POOR CONTACT

- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Check the connecting condition of the connector for Hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly. Ref. to HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE>HYBRID POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE

Is there poor contact of connector?
Yes: Connect the connector securely. Or repair the poor contact of connector.
No: Go to 3.
- CHECK COMBINATION METER

Check the combination meter. Ref. to COMBINATION METER (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .
Is the check result OK?
Yes: Replace Hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly. Ref. to HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE>HYBRID POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE .
No: Perform the inspection according to the diagnosis for combination meter.
