Diagnostic procedure:
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform the clear memory of [P-HEV Hybrid Powertrain Control]. Ref. to COMMON (DIAG)> CLEAR MEMORY .
- Turn to IG OFF, and wait for 2 minutes or more.
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read the DTC of [P-HEV Hybrid Powertrain Control] to check that there is no DTC displayed. Ref. to P-HEV HYBRID POWERTRAIN CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)> DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .NOTE: If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. After solving the DTC, repeat from step 1.
- Turn to READY ON.
- Turn to IG OFF, and wait for 5 seconds or more.NOTE: According to the display on the SUBARU SELECT MONITOR, read the Data List and monitor the values of "Hybrid Battery Voltage" and "VL-Voltage before Boosting" for 3 minutes. If the difference between "Hybrid Battery Voltage" and "VL-Voltage before Boosting" is always less than 100 V, the vehicle has returned to normal.
- Turn to READY ON.
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, display [Readiness code] of [P-HEV Hybrid Powertrain Control] and check that self-diagnosis of the DTC is completed. Ref. to P-HEV HYBRID POWERTRAIN CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>ALL READINESS DIAGNOSTIC CODE(S) .NOTE: If the concerned DTC is displayed, the self-diagnosis of the DTC is not complete. repeat from step 6.
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read the DTC of [P-HEV Hybrid Powertrain Control] to check that there is no DTC displayed. Ref. to P-HEV HYBRID POWERTRAIN CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)> DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .NOTE: If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs.
