Diagnostic procedure:
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform the clear memory of [P-HEV Hybrid Powertrain Control]. Ref. to COMMON (DIAG)>CLEAR MEMORY .
- Turn to IG OFF, and wait for 2 minutes or more.
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read the DTC of [P-HEV Hybrid Powertrain Control] to check that there is no DTC displayed. Ref. to P-HEV HYBRID POWERTRAIN CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .NOTE: If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. After solving the DTC, repeat from step 1.
- Set the wheel stoppers to the tires, and apply the parking brake.
- With the vehicle stopped, shift to P position, turn to READY ON, and wait for one minute or more.
- Turn the air conditioner to ON (temperature setting Lo/COOL MAX, and air flow maximum).
- Shift to D position while depressing the brake pedal without depressing the accelerator pedal, and wait for five minutes.
- When DTC P0AA6-49 is output at this point, if step 9) is performed continuously within the same trip, identification of the insulation resistance decrease section is performed, and P1C7C-49, P1C7D-49, P1C7E-49, P1C7F-49 or P33CF-49 is added and stored.
- When DTC is not output, go to step 8.
- Drive the vehicle approximately five minutes while referring to [Vehicle Speed], [Shift Position], [Accel. Opening Angle], [Engine Speed], [Coolant Temp], [Master Cylinder Control Torque], [Inverter Coolant Water Temperature], [Generator Inverter Calculated Temperature] and [Motor Inverter Temperature] of the freeze frame data. (When the freeze frame data [Vehicle Speed] is less than 10 km/h (6.2 MPH), drive the vehicle at 10 km/h (6.2 MPH) or more.)
- When DTC P0AA6-49 is output, continuously complete the step 9) immediately.
- When DTC is not output, go to step 10.
- After waiting for one minute or more with READY ON, P position, the vehicle stopped, and the air conditioner ON (temperature Lo/COOL MAX, air flow maximum), turn to READY OFF and wait for two minutes or more.
- Turn to IG OFF, connect Electric vehicle charger cable assembly, and charge it for three minutes or more.
- When charging cannot last for three minutes while DTC is not output, decrease SOC and perform step 10) again.
- When DTC P0AA6-49 is output at this point, identification of the insulation resistance decrease section is performed, and P1C7D-49, P1CF7-49 or P33CF-49 is added and stored.
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, display [Readiness code] of [P-HEV Hybrid Powertrain Control] and check that self-diagnosis of the DTC is completed. Ref. to P-HEV HYBRID POWERTRAIN CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>ALL READINESS DIAGNOSTIC CODE(S) .NOTE: If the concerned DTC is displayed, the self-diagnosis of the DTC is not complete. Repeat from step 4.
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read the DTC of [P-HEV Hybrid Powertrain Control] to check that there is no DTC displayed. Ref. to P-HEV HYBRID POWERTRAIN CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)> DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .NOTE: If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs.
