Heater Valve

- Using the refrigerant recovery system, discharge refrigerant. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>REFRIGERANT RECOVERY PROCEDURE>PROCEDURE .
- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY

- Remove the bumper face - front. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT BUMPER>REMOVAL

- Remove the active grille shutter. Ref. to COOLING (H4DO(HEV))>ACTIVE GRILLE SHUTTER>REMOVAL

- Remove the air guide LWR.
- Release the clips and claws, then remove the air guide LWR.

- Disconnect the pipe - sensor.
- Remove the bolt, and then disconnect the pipe - sensor.
CAUTION:
Seal the engaging parts of the disconnected pipe and expansion valve - heater assembly with plugs or vinyl tape to prevent foreign matter from entering.

- Remove the expansion valve - heater assembly.
- Disconnect the connector.
- Remove the bolt, and remove the expansion valve - heater assembly.
CAUTION:
Seal the engaging parts of the disconnected hose and condenser assembly with plugs or vinyl tape to prevent foreign matter from entering.
