The malfunction cause may be the resolver of the motor.

Check the internal resistance of Motor resolver and connecting condition from the inverter to the resolver.

The malfunction cause may be Generator resolver.

Check the internal resistance of Generator resolver and connecting condition from the inverter to the resolver.

The malfunction cause may be the shutdown signal.

Check for shorted +B of the shutdown signal.

The malfunction cause may be the low voltage system.

Check the inverter for open circuit in the +B low voltage power supply system, and check if there is any problems on the communication between Hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly and the inverter.

The malfunction cause may be HV BATTERY HIGH-VOLTAGE LINE CIRCUIT.

Check the continuity of the high voltage line from HV battery to the inverter. Check Service plug, EV battery fuse, and the high voltage wires from HV battery to the inverter for connecting condition and open circuit, and check the function of the system main relay (SMR).

The malfunction cause may be Cooling System.

Check for grille clogging, coolant leakage, HV radiator fan driving condition and coolant freeze.
