DTC C1412: Selected Parameter
DTC Detecting condition:
- A fault is detected if abnormal set value is found on the vehicle model that were given some parameters.
- A fault is detected if 0 point setting compensation of the sensor is not yet performed.
Trouble symptom:
- ABS does not operate.
- VDC does not operate.
- Hill hold does not function.
- EyeSight does not operate.
- CHECK VDCCM AND H/U IDENTIFICATION SYMBOL

Check the identification symbol attached on the H/U. Ref. to VEHICLE DYNAMICS CONTROL (VDC)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>SPECIFICATION .
Is the identification symbol correct?
Yes: Go to 2.
No: Replace the VDCCM and H/U. Ref. to VEHICLE DYNAMICS CONTROL (VDC)>VDC CONTROL MODULE AND HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT (VDCCM & H/U) .
- CHECK PARAMETER SELECTED IN VDCCM

Check the parameters. Ref. to VEHICLE DYNAMICS CONTROL (VDC)>VDC CONTROL MODULE AND HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT (VDCCM & H/U)>MAINTENANCE MODE>VDCCM PARAMETER CHECK .
Does the parameter registered in the VDCCM match the relevant vehicle?
Yes: Go to 3.
No: Select and register the correct parameter. Ref. to VEHICLE DYNAMICS CONTROL (VDC)>VDC CONTROL MODULE AND HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT (VDCCM & H/U)>MAINTENANCE MODE>VDCCM PARAMETER SELECTION .
- CHECK ECM SPECIFICATION

Check the ECM specification.
Is the specification of ECM same as vehicle specification?
Yes: Replace the VDCCM and H/U. Ref. to VEHICLE DYNAMICS CONTROL (VDC)>VDC CONTROL MODULE AND HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT (VDCCM & H/U) .
No: Replace the ECM. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO(HEV))>ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) .
