DTC C1C6F Accumulator Pressure Leak

DTC detecting condition: 

Trouble symptom: 

Regenerative brake cannot be controlled.

  1. CHECK BRAKE FLUID LEAKAGE  .

    Check the brake fluid lines between the brake booster assembly (with master cylinder) and the brake accumulator assembly for brake fluid leakage.

    Is the check result OK?

    Yes:  Go to  2.

    No:  Repair or replace the appropriate parts.

  2. CHECK PUMP MOTOR DRIVE TIME  .
    1. Turn to READY ON.
    2. Wait for a while in the READY ON state, check ON/OFF operation of the pump motor.
      NOTE: The pump motor drive one or more time (OFF → ON) within 20 seconds, or duration of operation at a single time is for 10 seconds or more.

    Is the check result OK?

    Yes:  Go to  3.

    No:  Replace the brake booster assembly (with the master cylinder) and the brake accumulator assembly. Ref. to BRAKE>BRAKE BOOSTER . Ref. to BRAKE>BRAKE ACCUMULATOR ASSY . Go to  3.

  3. CHECK DTC  .
    1. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform the clear memory of [Electric Brake Booster]. Ref. to COMMON (DIAG)>CLEAR MEMORY .
    2. Read the DTC of [Electric Brake Booster] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to ELECTRIC BRAKE BOOSTER (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .

    Is DTC C1C6F displayed?

    Yes:  Replace the brake booster assembly (with the master cylinder) and the brake accumulator assembly. Ref. to BRAKE>BRAKE BOOSTER . Ref. to BRAKE>BRAKE ACCUMULATOR ASSY .

    No:  Currently, it is normal. There may have been a temporary poor contact in the harness and connector or a temporary noise interference.
