Rear Door Glass: Removal

  1. Operate the switch - power window sub rear to move the glass assembly - rear door to the lowest position.
  2. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
    NOTE: For the hybrid model, disconnect the battery negative terminal.
  3. Remove the trim panel - rear door. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>DOOR TRIM>REMOVAL>REAR DOOR .
  4. Remove the rear sealing cover. Ref. to EXTERIOR BODY PANELS>SEALING COVER>REMOVAL>REAR SEALING COVER .
  5. Remove the glass assembly - rear door.
    CAUTION: Do not damage the sash or sash tape OUT while removing.
    1. Partially turn over the running channel - rear door.
    2. Turn over the weather strip - door, and remove the screws.
    3. Remove the bolts, and then remove the sash assembly - rear partition while lowering it.

    4. Remove the glass - rear door partition.

    5. While tilting the glass assembly - rear door, remove the guide from the roller of the regulator and motor assembly - rear, then remove the glass assembly - rear door.
      CAUTION: Avoid impact and damage to the glass assembly - rear door.

    6. Remove the running channel - rear door.
