Door Latch & Door Lock Actuator Assembly: Removal: Front

  1. Raise the glass assembly - front door to the top position.
  2. Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
    NOTE: For the hybrid model, disconnect the battery negative terminal.
  3. Remove the trim panel - front door. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>DOOR TRIM>REMOVAL>FRONT DOOR .
  4. Remove the sealing cover - front door. Ref. to EXTERIOR BODY PANELS>SEALING COVER>REMOVAL>FRONT SEALING COVER .
  5. Remove the plate - door UPR.
    1. Release the clips, and remove the plate - door UPR.

  6. Remove the sash COMPL - lower.
    1. Remove the lower side of the running channel - front door.

    2. Remove the bolts, and remove the sash COMPL - lower.

  7. Remove the latch and actuator assembly - front.
    1. Remove the rod clamp and remove the rod.

    2. Disconnect the connector.
    3. Remove the TORX® bolts, and remove the latch & actuator assembly - front.
