Parking Brake Harness

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
    NOTE:
    • Release the shift lock and shift the select lever to the "N" position. Ref. to CONTROL SYSTEMS>SELECT LEVER>REMOVAL .
    • On power seat models, move the front seat all the way forward before disconnecting the battery ground terminal.
  2. Move the front seat to the front-most position.
  3. Remove the console box assembly. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CONSOLE BOX>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the connector.

  5. Remove the rear seat cushion assembly. Ref. to SEATS>REAR SEAT>REMOVAL .
  6. Lift up the vehicle, and then remove the rear wheels.
  7. Remove the fuel tank protector. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO(HEV))>FUEL TANK PROTECTOR>REMOVAL .
  8. Remove the electronic parking brake harness.
    1. Remove the grommet (a).
    2. Remove the clamp (b).
    3. Remove the clamp (c).
    4. Remove the clamp (d).
    5. Remove the harness clamp (e).
    6. Remove the harness clamp (f).
    7. Remove the harness clamp (g).
    8. Remove the harness clamp (h).
    9. Remove the clamp (i).
    10. Remove the clamp (j).
    11. Remove the clamp (k).
    12. Disconnect the connector (l).
