Check Stroke Simulator

  1. Check that the voltage of the 12 volt auxiliary battery is correct.
  2. Connect a measuring device as shown in the figure.

  3. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform the clear memory. Ref. to COMMON (DIAG)>CLEAR MEMORY .
  4. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read [Stroke Sensor 1 Revision Voltage] and [Stroke Sensor 2 Revision Voltage] on the [Data Monitor] display.
  5. Depress the brake pedal 4 - 5 times.
  6. Check each stroke sensor output value when the brake pedal is depressed.

Specification: 

Brake pedal force: N (kgf, lbf) 50 (5.1, 11.2) 100 (10.2, 22.5) 150 (15.3, 33.7)
Stroke sensor 1 correction voltage: V 1.09 - 1.79 1.23 - 1.93 1.32 - 2.02
Stroke sensor 2 correction voltage: V 3.21 - 3.91 3.07 - 3.77 2.98 - 3.68
