Brake Accumulator ASSY: Disposal
CAUTION:
The gas is colorless, odorless, and harmless nitrogen gas. Be careful of the following items during operation:
- Be sure to wear dust-resistant goggles.
- Gas pressure may scatter cutting powder or oil. Therefore, be sure to cover the metal cutting saw with a cloth while making a cut.
- Perform the cutting operation slowly. If you make a cut at once, the gas will come out vigorously.
- Fix the brake accumulator assembly in a vise.
- Remove the brake accumulator.
- Use a metal cutting saw and make a cut in the (a) area on the side of the brake accumulator to release the charged gas.
