Front Grille: Replacement: Ornament

  1. Press the ornament from the back of front grille assembly, and remove the ornament.
    CAUTION:
    • Be careful not to damage the surface of front grille assembly during operation.
    • Do not reuse the ornament.
  2. Remove the double-sided tape remaining on the front grille assembly side, then clean the adhesive surface.
    CAUTION: If even a slight amount of double-sided tape remains on the adhesive surface, it may lead to improper adhesion.
  3. Degrease the mounting surface of ornament with appropriate cleaning solvent or alcohol.
  4. Apply primer to the ornament mounting surfaces of the front grille assembly.

    Preparation items: 

    Primer: 3M K-520, K-500 or equivalent

  5. Install the ornament.
    CAUTION: Affix so that there should be no gap between front grille assembly and ornament.
