Bumper Face

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
    NOTE: For the hybrid model, disconnect the battery negative terminal.
  2. Remove the bumper face - front.
    1. Remove the bolt and clip.

    2. While pushing up the lower side (a) of the bumper face - front, release the engagement in the order from (b) to (f).
      CAUTION: Do not pull forcibly. It may damage the flange section on the bumper face - front side when it comes off from the claws of the bracket - front bumper.

    3. Disconnect the connector from the light assembly - fog or the light assembly - DRL.
      NOTE: Detach the opposite side in the same manner.
    4. Remove the bumper face - front.
      NOTE: For convenience and safety, perform the work with 2 people.
      • Model without front view camera

        Remove the bumper face while pulling up the center part of the bumper.

      • Model with front view camera
        CAUTION: To avoid damaging the camera harness, pull out the bumper face.
        NOTE: For convenience and safety, perform the work with 2 people.
        1. Pull out the bumper face in front of the vehicle while pulling up the center part of the bumper.

        2. Remove the harness clamp (a).
        3. Disconnect the front view camera assembly connector (b) and remove the bumper face.
