DTC B2B05: Driver's Door Power Window Pulse 2 No Signal
DTC detecting condition:
When the power window is rolling up (except in fully closed zone), change in pulse 2 phase (edge) is not detected while pulse 1 phase is producing 10 edges.
Trouble symptom:
When the power window main switch is operated, driver's side window rolls down only in manual down operation, or inches up. (Inch up: Operating the switch rolls up the window about 10 mm only)
- SYSTEM INITIALIZATION

- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform [System Initialization] of [Power Window (Driver)]. Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS)>WORK SUPPORT>OPERATION>SYSTEM INITIALIZATION .NOTE: Record the DTCs and FFD because they will be erased when the initialization is performed.
- Perform the initial setting of the power window. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOW/MIRRORS>POWER WINDOW SYSTEM>OPERATION .
- Operate the power window main switch and check that the power window (driver's side) operates.
Does the power window operate normally according to switch operation?
Yes: Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.
NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.No: Go to 2.
- CHECK DTC

Read the DTC of [Power Window (Driver)] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
Is DTC B2B05 displayed? (Current malfunction)
Yes: Replace the front regulator and motor assembly (driver's side). Ref. to GLASS/WINDOW/MIRRORS>FRONT REGULATOR AND MOTOR ASSEMBLY .
No: Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.
NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.
