Rear Door Glass: Installation

  1. Install the glass assembly - rear door.
    CAUTION: Avoid impact and damage to the glass assembly - rear door.
  2. Temporarily assemble the running channel - rear door to the sash assembly - rear partition.
    NOTE: Assemble the running channel - rear door so that its end face aligns to the vehicle mounting face of the sash assembly - rear partition.
  3. Install the glass - rear door partition and the temporarily-assembled sash assembly - rear partition.
    CAUTION: Check that the running channel - rear door is securely fixed to the panel assembly - rear door and to the sash assembly - rear partition.
    NOTE:
    • Engage the claws at the top of the sash assembly - partition into the panel assembly - rear door.
    • Do not allow the molding part of the glass - rear door partition to turn over while installing it.

    Tightening torque: 

    7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

  4. Install the rear sealing cover.
  5. Install the trim panel - rear door. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>DOOR TRIM>INSTALLATION .
  6. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
    NOTE: For the hybrid model, connect the battery negative terminal.
