Check The Vehicle Harness

CAUTION:

Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
If the steering wheel and steering angle sensor (steering roll connector) are removed, be sure to perform the following operations.
- Align the center position of the steering roll connector.
- Perform the neutral position setting of the steering angle sensor.

CHECK THE VEHICLE HARNESS .

Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
NOTE: For the hybrid model, disconnect the battery negative terminal.

Measure the resistance between connector - 12 V battery + terminal side harness.

C-9 - 12 V battery + terminal side harness	Less than 1 Ω

Is the measured value less than 1 Ω?

Yes: Vehicle harness is normal.

No: Repair the open circuit of vehicle harness.
