Pre-Collision Brake Off Switch And Lane Departure Warning Off Switch: Switch

Measure the resistance between connector terminals.

Pre-collision brake OFF switch

3 - 5	ON	Less than 1 Ω

Lane departure warning OFF switch

Terminal No.	Inspection conditions	Standard
4 - 5	OFF	Approx. 1 kΩ
4 - 5	ON	Less than 1 Ω

Apply battery voltage between the connector terminals to check lighting condition of illumination inside the switch.

CAUTION: When applying battery voltage, do not mix up the positive (+) side and the negative (-) side.
Incorrect polarity connection may cause LED damage inside the switch.

Replace the pre-collision brake OFF switch and the lane departure warning OFF switch if it is found defective.
