Heat Pump Control Module

  1. Install the heat pump control module.

    Tightening torque:  7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

  2. Install the pocket assembly and the back panel - pocket. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>GLOVE BOX>INSTALLATION .
  3. Connect the battery ground terminal. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  4. When the heat pump control module was replaced with a new part, follow the procedure below to cancel the initialization prohibit state.
    1. Check that all connectors are locked securely.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Turn the fan dial to ON.
    4. Wait for 20 seconds or more, then turn the ignition switch to OFF.
