Pressure Switch (Triple Pressure Switch): Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
CAUTION:
  • Do not start the engine before charging refrigerant.
  • If the engine is started with no refrigerant charge, replace the compressor assembly.
  • Apply compressor oil to O-rings of the switch and install it completely.
  1. Install a new pressure switch.

    Tightening torque: 

    10.8 N.m (1.1 kgf-m, 8 ft-lb)

  2. Install the battery. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>BATTERY>INSTALLATION .
  3. Charge refrigerant. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (EXCEPT FOR HEV)>REFRIGERANT CHARGING PROCEDURE>PROCEDURE .
