PCV Hose No. 2

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
CAUTION: Do not remove except when the PCV hose is broken.
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the intake manifold assembly. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>INTAKE MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the A/C compressor. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (EXCEPT FOR HEV)>COMPRESSOR>REMOVAL .
    CAUTION: Do not bend the pipe portion of the hose - pressure discharge and the hose - pressure suction.
    NOTE: This operation procedure would be possible by simply moving aside the A/C compressor to the position that it does not interfere with the work. In that case, it is not necessary to disconnect the hose - pressure discharge and the hose - pressure suction from the A/C compressor.
  4. Remove the PCV hose No. 2 from the PCV connector and the air intake boot.
