Torque Converter: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Remove the transmission body. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580 CROSSTREK)>TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the ST.

  3. Pull out the torque converter horizontally.
    CAUTION:

    Be careful not to scratch the inside of engaging parts. 

    • 2.0 L model

  4. Remove the O-rings.
