CVTF Cooler (With Warmer Function): Removal

CAUTION:

Wait until the CVTF cools down before starting the procedure.
If CVTF and engine coolant is spilt over the engine or the exhaust pipe, completely wipe it off to avoid emission of smoke or causing a fire.

Drain engine coolant. Ref. to COOLING (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT .
Remove the clip from the air intake boot, and loosen the clamp.

Remove the air intake boot, and place it aside so that it does not interfere with the work.
CAUTION:
Be careful not to pull out the PCV hose.

Disconnect the water hose (inlet) and water hose (outlet).

NOTE:

Prepare the container for draining of the coolant.

Disconnect the water hose (inlet).

Remove the CVTF cooler (with warmer feature).
NOTE:
Prepare the container for draining of engine oil.

Remove the O-rings.

Remove the water hose (inlet).

NOTE:

Perform this procedure only when required.
