CVTF Cooler (With Warmer Function): Removal
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
CAUTION:
- Wait until the CVTF cools down before starting the procedure.
- If CVTF and engine coolant is spilt over the engine or the exhaust pipe, completely wipe it off to avoid emission of smoke or causing a fire.
- Drain engine coolant. Ref. to COOLING (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT .
- Remove the clip from the air intake boot, and loosen the clamp.
- Remove the air intake boot, and place it aside so that it does not interfere with the work.CAUTION:
Be careful not to pull out the PCV hose.
- Disconnect the water hose (inlet) and water hose (outlet).NOTE:
Prepare the container for draining of the coolant.
- Remove the CVTF cooler (with warmer feature).NOTE:
Prepare the container for draining of engine oil.
- Remove the O-rings.
- Remove the water hose (inlet).
NOTE:
Perform this procedure only when required.
