Transfer Drive Gear: Assembly

Install the needle bearing and snap ring to the transfer drive gear.
Set the ST against the inner race of a new ball bearing, and install the transfer drive gear.
CAUTION: Do not apply a load in excess of 10 kN (1 ton, 1.1 US ton, 1.0 Imp ton).

Preparation tool: ST: INSTALLER (398177700)

Install the snap ring.

Inspect the clearance between the snap ring and the ball bearing. Ref. to MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND DIFFERENTIAL (6MT)>TRANSFER DRIVE GEAR>INSPECTION .
