Clutch Disc and Cover: Installation

Install the release bearing & lever. Ref. to CLUTCH SYSTEM>RELEASE BEARING AND LEVER>INSTALLATION .
Insert the ST (CLUTCH DISC GUIDE) into the clutch disc.
Install it by inserting the end of the ST to the pilot bearing.
CAUTION: Pay attention to the orientation of the clutch disc.

Preparation tool:

ST: CLUTCH DISC GUIDE (499747100)

Install the clutch cover and tighten the bolts to specified torque.
NOTE:
- When installing a clutch cover, position the clutch cover so that the spacing between the unbalance marks (paint mark) on the flywheel and clutch cover is 120° or more apart. (The unbalance mark indicates the direction of residual unbalance.)
- Temporarily tighten each bolt by hand, and tighten them to the specified torque in a crisscross order.
Tightening torque:

16 N.m (1.6 kgf-m, 11.8 ft-lb)

Remove the ST (CLUTCH DISC GUIDE).
Install the manual transmission assembly.
