Transfer Clutch: Removal

  1. Remove the transmission assembly from the vehicle. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580 IMPREZA)>AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the extension case. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580 IMPREZA)>EXTENSION CASE>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the transfer clutch assembly.

  4. Remove the thrust bearing.

  5. Remove the seal ring from transfer clutch assembly.
