Lower Inner Trim: Removal

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM"  . Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>General Description>CAUTION .
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Release the clips and claws, and then remove the cover side sill front RR.
    CAUTION: Do not pull with excessive force. The claws of the cover side sill front RR may be damaged  .

  3. Remove the weather strip body side flange front.
  4. Remove the clips, and remove the cover side sill front FR.

  5. Remove the cover bolt rear outside second, Ref. to SEATS>Second Seat>REMOVAL .
  6. Remove the rear seat harness clamp.
  7. Release the clips and claws, and then remove the cover side sill rear UPR.
    CAUTION: Do not pull with excessive force. Doing so may damage the claws of the cover side sill rear UPR  .

  8. Remove the weather strip body side flange rear.
  9. Release the clips, and remove the trim panel assembly B pillar LWR.

  10. Disconnect the claws and remove the cover catcher.

NOTE: Remove the cover catcher using a plastic remover.
