Combination Switch (Wiper): Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor, Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the column cover assembly.
    1. Release the clips, and remove the cover assembly steering.

    2. Remove the screws while operating the steering wheel.
    3. Release the claws and remove the column cover assembly LWR.

      NOTE:
      • Release the claws on RH side in the same procedure as on the LH side.
      • For models with keyless access with push button start, remove the cap key cylinder.
    4. Release the claws and remove the column cover assembly UPR.

  3. Remove the switch assembly combination wiper select.
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Press the claws (a), and pull out the switch assembly combination wiper select.
      CAUTION: Do not press the claws with excessive force. They may be damaged.
