Pre-Collision Brake Off Switch And Lane Departure Warning Off Switch

• SWITCH 

1. Measure the resistance between connector terminals.

   Preparation tool: 

   Circuit tester

   • Pre-collision brake OFF switch

     Terminal No.	Inspection conditions	Standard
     3 - 5	OFF	Approx. 1 kΩ
     	ON	Less than 1 Ω

   • Lane departure warning OFF switch

     Terminal No.	Inspection conditions	Standard
     4 - 5	OFF	Approx. 1 kΩ
     	ON	Less than 1 Ω

2. Apply battery voltage between the connector terminals to check lighting condition of illumination inside the switch.
   CAUTION: When applying battery voltage, do not mix up the positive (+) side and the negative (-) side.
   Incorrect polarity connection may cause LED damage inside the switch.

   Terminal No.	Inspection conditions	Specification
   1 (+) - 2 (-)	Apply battery voltage.	Light ON

3. Replace the pre-collision brake OFF switch and the lane departure warning OFF switch if it is found defective.

• HARNESS 

1. Check the continuity between the connector terminals.

   • Pre-collision brake OFF switch

     A10 - B3 A13 - B5	Always	Less than 1 Ω

   • Lane departure warning OFF switch

     Terminal No.	Inspection conditions	Standard
     A9 - B4 A13 - B5	Always	Less than 1 Ω

   • Illumination

     Terminal No.	Inspection conditions	Standard
     A8 - B1 A12 - B2	Always	Less than 1 Ω

2. Replace the stereo camera cover assembly if faulty is found in the inspection.
