Draining Of Engine Coolant

  1. Lift up the vehicle.
  2. Remove the under cover. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT UNDER COVER>REMOVAL .
  3. Set a vinyl sheet (A), etc. at the base of drain plug.
    CAUTION: This operation is required to prevent engine coolant from scattering around.
  4. Remove the drain plug (B) to drain engine coolant into container.
    NOTE: Remove the coolant filler tank cap so that engine coolant will drain faster.

  5. Install the drain plug.
    NOTE: Use new O-rings.
  6. Remove the vinyl sheet, etc.
  7. Install the under cover. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT UNDER COVER>INSTALLATION .
