Combination Meter: Removal

CAUTION:
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Release the lock, tilt the steering column to the lowest end and fully extend the column by the telescopic system.
  3. Release the screws and clips, then detach the visor assembly.

  4. Remove the ornament panel mid driver assembly.
    1. Release the clips and pull out toward yourself.
    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the ornament panel mid driver assembly.

  5. Remove the cover LWR driver. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Instrument Panel Lower Cover>REMOVAL .
  6. Remove the grip and boot. Refer to CONTROL SYSTEMS>Select Lever>REMOVAL .
  7. Remove the cover assembly front. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Console Box>REMOVAL .
  8. Remove the ornament panel mid passenger assembly. Refer to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>Cockpit Display>REMOVAL .
  9. Remove the combination meter assembly.
    CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the meter glass or instrument panel.
    1. Release the clips and claws of the cover steering UPR.

    2. Remove the screws.

    3. Release the clips and pull out the combination meter assembly.
    4. Disconnect the connector and remove the combination meter assembly.
