User Information Linkage Does Not Operate Normally

CAUTION: Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Refer to DRIVER MONITORS (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
NOTE: Before performing diagnosis, check the following items.
  • Move the shift to P position.
  • Set the parking brake to ON.
  • Check that individual persons are registered for Driver Monitoring System.
  • Check that the user information linkage of the cockpit control module is ON.
  1. CHECK COMBINATION METER  .

    Perform the diagnosis for combination meter. Refer to  BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE  .

    Is the check result OK?

    Yes  : Go to  2.

    No  : Perform the diagnosis according to the inspection for the combination meter.

  2. CHECK VDC  .

    Perform the diagnosis for VDC. Refer to BRAKE CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .

    Is the check result OK?

    Yes  : Go to  3.

    No  : Perform the diagnosis according to the inspection for VDC.

  3. CHECK COCKPIT CONTROL MODULE  .

    Perform the diagnosis for cockpit control system. Refer to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>Basic Diagnostic Procedure>PROCEDURE .

    Is the check result OK?

    Yes  : Go to  4.

    No  : Perform the diagnosis according to the inspection for cockpit control system.

  4. CHECK A/C SYSTEM  .

    Perform the diagnosis for the A/C. Refer to AIR CONDITIONER (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE  .

    Is the check result OK?

    Yes  : Go to  5.

    No  : Perform the diagnosis according to the inspection for A/C.

  5. CHECK POWER SEAT/REMOTE MIRROR SYSTEM  .

    Perform the diagnosis for the power seat/remote mirror system. Refer to POWER SEAT MEMORY (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .

    Is the check result OK?

    Yes  : Go to  6.

    No  : Perform the diagnosis according to the inspection for the power seat/remote mirror system.

  6. CHECK DTC  .

    Read the DTC of [Driver Monitor] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Refer to DRIVER MONITOR (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .

    Are any DTCs displayed? (Current malfunction)

    Yes  : Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. Refer to DRIVER MONITOR (DIAGNOSTICS)>Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)>LIST .

    No  : Go to  7.

  7. CHECK ACTIVE TEST  .

    Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform [Active Test] of [Driver Monitor]. Refer to DRIVER MONITOR (DIAGNOSTICS)>ACTIVE TEST .

    Was [Active Test] performed normally?

    Yes  : Check the units, other than the driver monitoring unit, that do not operate normally.

    No  : Go to  8.

  8. CHECK DTC  .

    Read the DTC of [Driver Monitor] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Refer to DRIVER MONITOR (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .

    Are any DTCs displayed? (Current malfunction)

    Yes  : Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. Refer to DRIVER MONITOR (DIAGNOSTICS)>Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)>LIST .

    No  : Replace the driver monitoring unit. Refer to INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO>DRIVER MONITORING UNIT .
