H4DOTC Model

  1. Remove the air intake boot. Refer to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DOTC)>Air Intake Boot>REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the intercooler. Refer to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DOTC)>Intercooler>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the vacuum hose & pipe.
NOTE: Perform marking of the vacuum hose on the vacuum pump side as shown in the figure below.

  1. Remove the bolts securing the vacuum hose & pipe to the engine rear hanger.

  2. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum pump.

  3. Disconnect the vacuum hose & pipe from the vacuum booster assembly.

  4. Disconnect the vacuum hose from vacuum pipe.
