Rear Door Glass: Removal

  1. Operate the switch assembly power window to move the glass assembly rear door to the lowest position.
  2. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  3. Remove the trim panel rear door. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Door Trim>REMOVAL>REAR DOOR .
  4. Remove the rear sealing cover. Refer to EXTERIOR BODY PANELS>Sealing Cover>REMOVAL>REAR SEALING COVER .
  5. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Refer to BATTERYREPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY>GROUND TERMINAL REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION  .
  6. Remove the glass assembly rear door.
    CAUTION: Do not damage the sash or the sash molding while removing.
    1. Remove the sash assembly rear door partition, and remove the running channel rear door from the glass assembly rear door.

    2. Remove the glass rear door partition.

    3. Slide the glass assembly rear door to remove from the regulator & motor assembly rear.
      CAUTION: Avoid impact and damage to the door glass assembly.
