Faulty Screen (Blue Screen, Etc.) Is Displayed Momentarily

Probable cause: 

Malfunction of rearview camera

CAUTION: Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Refer to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>General Description>CAUTION .
  1. CHECK DTC  .
    1. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform the clear memory of [Cockpit Control]. Refer to COMMON (DIAG)>CLEAR MEMORY .
    2. Turn the ignition switch OFF → ON.
    3. Read the DTC of [Cockpit Control] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Refer to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .

    Are any DTCs displayed? (Current malfunction)

    Yes  : Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. Refer to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .

    No  : DTC may not remain in the phenomenon that a faulty screen returns to a normal screen. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.

    NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.

    Perform the diagnosis of DTC B224A, when DTC does not remain even if this phenomenon occurs frequently. Refer to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)>DTC B224A BACKUP CAMERA .
