Roof Antenna (XM Satellite Radio/Telematics Antenna)

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, refer to AIRBAG SYSTEM>General Description>CAUTION .
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
    NOTE: On power seat models, move the passenger's seat all the way forward to position the backrest at the foremost position before disconnecting the ground terminal from the battery sensor.
  2. Lower the trim panel sub assembly. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Roof Trim>REMOVAL .
    NOTE: Procedures for the roof trim is performed inside the vehicle.
  3. Remove the antenna assembly roof.
    CAUTION: Do not reuse the bolt assembly roof antenna and washer roof antenna.
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the bolt assembly roof antenna and remove the washer roof antenna.

    3. Remove the antenna assembly roof while pressing the temporal holding claws.
