Lane Keep (Lane Departure Prevention) Cannot Be Ready/Lane Keep (Lane Departure Prevention) Does Not Operate/Though Lane Keep (Lane Departure Prevention) Is Operating, The Vehicle Departs Out Of The Lane Due To Poor Assistance

Check for the presence of ECM lane departure prevention deactivation codes. Refer to EyeSight (DIAGNOSTICS)>Lane Departure Prevention Assist Deactivate Code (s) Display .

Is a lane departure prevention deactivation code displayed?

Yes  : Perform the diagnosis for the displayed lane departure prevention deactivation code. Refer to EyeSight (DIAGNOSTICS)>Lane Departure Prevention Assist Deactivate Code (s) Display .

No  : Go to  2.

Using CHECK LIST (ACTIVE LANE KEEP), check the following and respond to it. Refer to EyeSight (DIAGNOSTICS)>Diagnostics with Phenomenon>INSPECTION>CHECK LIST (ACTIVE LANE KEEP) .

• Does it apply to the condition that use of lane keeping is not desired?
• Does it apply to the condition or the object that is hard to be recognized by the stereo camera?
• Does it apply to the road condition that the white line is difficult to be recognized?

Is there a relevant item in the check list?

Yes  : When there is a relevant item, it can be the cause of malfunction. Eliminate the cause, and check that the malfunction has been improved.

No  : Go to  3.

Check the windshield glass and the dashboard. Refer to EyeSight (DIAGNOSTICS)>General Description>INSPECTION>WINDSHIELD GLASS AND DASHBOARD .

Is the check result OK?

Yes  : Go to  4.

No  : Repair or replace the faulty portion according to the inspection result.

Check the front wiper. Refer to EyeSight (DIAGNOSTICS)>General Description>INSPECTION>FRONT WIPER .

Is the check result OK?

Yes  : Go to  5.

No  : Repair or replace the faulty portion according to the inspection result.

Check the optical axis of the headlight. Refer to LIGHTING SYSTEM>Headlight Assembly>ADJUSTMENT .

Is the check result OK?

Yes  : Go to  6.

No  : Repair or replace the faulty portion according to the inspection result.

Check the stereo camera. Refer to EyeSight (DIAGNOSTICS)>General Description>INSPECTION>STEREO CAMERA .

Is the check result OK?

Yes  : Go to  7.

No  : Repair or replace the faulty portion according to the inspection result.

Check the tires and wheel alignment. Refer to FRONT SUSPENSION>WHEEL ALIGNMENT .

Is the check result OK?

Yes  : Go to  8.

No  : Repair or replace the faulty portion according to the inspection result.

Perform optical axis adjustment of the stereo camera. Perform optical axis adjustment of the stereo camera. Refer to EYESIGHT>CAMERA ADJUSTMENT, INSPECTION .

Was the fault fixed after adjusting the optical axis?

Yes  : The current state is normal.

No  : Replace the stereo camera. Refer to EYESIGHT>STEREO CAMERA .
