DTC B112A: Driver Monitoring Communication 1
DTC detecting condition:
Driver monitoring unit internal failure
Trouble symptom:
The driver monitoring system does not operate.
CAUTION:
Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Refer to DRIVER MONITORS (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
- CHECK DTC
.
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform the clear memory of [Driver Monitor]. Refer to COMMON (DIAG)>CLEAR MEMORY .
- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Wait for 2 minutes.
- Read the DTC of [Driver Monitor] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Refer to DRIVER MONITOR (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
Is any of DTC B112A, B112B, B112C, B112D, B112E, B1140, B1141, B118A, B118B, B118C, B118D, B118E, B118F, B11E5, B11E6, B11E7, B11E8, B11E9 or B11EA displayed? (Current malfunction)
Yes : Replace Driver Monitoring Unit. Refer to INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO>DRIVER MONITORING UNIT .
No : Even if DTC (past malfunction) is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.
NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.
