Misjudgment Occurs In User Recognition (Recognized As A Different Person)
- Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Refer to DRIVER MONITORS (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
- Perform the check list for personal recognition. Refer to DRIVER MONITORS (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTICS WITH PHENOMENON>LIST>CHECK LIST FOR PERSONAL RECOGNITION .
- When some time has elapsed since registration was performed, perform registration again and then recognize an individual person.
- Remove accessories that cover your face.
- When Driver Monitoring Unit is soiled with any dirt or fingerprint, wipe off with soft cloth or cloth wrung out of water.
- CHECK DTC

Read the DTC of [Driver Monitor] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Refer to DRIVER MONITOR (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
Are any DTCs displayed? (Current malfunction)
Yes : Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. Refer to DRIVER MONITOR (DIAGNOSTICS)>Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)>LIST .
No : Go to 2.
- CHECK USER REGISTRATION STATUS

Check if the user is wearing the same accessories (such as glasses and sunglasses) he/she was wearing at the user registration.
Is the user wearing the same accessories?
Yes : Go to 3.
No : Wear the same accessories.
When the trouble occurs again. Go to 3.
- USER RE-REGISTRATION
.
Perform the user registration again, and check the recognition result.
Does the user recognition work correctly?
Yes : Driver Monitoring System is normal.
No : Inform the user that the recognition may not work properly with the current Driver Monitoring System, and have the user decide whether or not to use.
