Stop Light Switch: Installation

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, always refer to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
  1. Install the stop light switch assembly onto the bracket pedal COMPL with screws and position it with the nut.
  2. Adjust the stop light switch assembly position, and then tighten the nut. Refer to BRAKE>STOP LIGHT SWITCH>ADJUSTMENT .

    Tightening torque: 

    8 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.9 ft-lb)

  3. Install the knee airbag module. Refer to AIRBAG SYSTEM>KNEE AIRBAG MODULE>INSTALLATION .
  4. Install the cover LWR driver.
  5. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
