Secondary Pressure Sensor: Removal

CAUTION:
  • Vehicle components are extremely hot immediately after driving. Be wary of receiving burns from heated parts.
  • If CVTF spills over the engine, completely wipe it off to avoid emission of smoke and causing a fire.
  • If water or oil contacts the connector terminal of secondary pressure sensor, replace it with a new part.
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the front exhaust pipe. Ref. to EXHAUST (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>FRONT EXHAUST PIPE>REMOVAL .
  3. Disconnect the connector and remove the secondary pressure sensor.
NOTE: Prepare the container for draining of engine oil.
