- CHECK BETWEEN RELATED LINES AND MAIN WIRING HARNESS

- Disconnect the pedestrian alert Control Module connector.
- Using a tester, measure the resistance between terminals in the pedestrian alert Control Module connector.
Connector & terminal
(B641) No. 3 - (B641) No. 4:
Is the resistance 400 Ω or more?
Yes : A related line between the pedestrian alert Control Module and main wiring harness is open, or main wiring harness is open at two places or more.
No : Go to 2.
- CHECK RELATED LINES

Using a tester, measure the resistance between the pedestrian alert Control Module connector and audio or navigation unit connector.

(B641) No. 4 - (i87) No. 10:
Is the resistance 10 Ω or more?
Yes : Repair or replace the open circuit of pedestrian alert related lines.
No : Check DTC of pedestrian alert system. Ref. to PEDESTRIAN ALERT (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
