NOTE:
When CAN communication circuit is measured, combined resistance of the end resistance (120 Ω) in the central gateway Control Module and the end resistance (120 Ω) in VDC Control Module & H/U can be measured. The combined resistance is more than 56 Ω and less than 64 Ω. When the measured resistance value is 64 Ω or more, either of end resistance or main wiring harness may have malfunction such as open circuit.
- CHECK CONTROL MODULE

- Disconnect the connectors of the central gateway Control Module and VDC Control Module & H/U.
- Using a tester, measure the resistance between control module terminals.

(B310) No. 15 - (B310) No. 16:
Is the resistance 114 - 126 Ω?
Yes : Go to 2.
No : Replace the control module whose value is out of the specification.
- CHECK HARNESS
.
Using a tester, measure the resistance between the central gateway Control Module connector and VDC Control Module & H/U connector.

Is the resistance less than 10 Ω?
Yes : It is possible that temporary poor communication occurs.
No : Repair or replace the open circuit of harness.
