CVTF Inlet Pipe And CVTF Outlet Pipe

CAUTION:
  • Vehicle components are extremely hot immediately after driving. Be wary of receiving burns from heated parts.
  • If ATF spills over the engine, completely wipe it off to avoid emission of smoke and causing a fire.
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Drain the ATF. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TH2A)>AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID>REPLACEMENT .
  3. Remove the front exhaust pipe. Ref. to EXHAUST (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>FRONT EXHAUST PIPE>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the CVTF CVT inlet hose and CVTF CVT outlet hose.

  5. Remove the clips, and remove the bolts which fasten the CVTF inlet pipe and CVTF outlet pipe.

  6. Remove the union bolts and remove the CVTF inlet pipe and CVTF outlet pipe.
