Heater Duct: Removal: Front

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from the 12V engine restart battery sensor. and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
    NOTE:
    • For CVT models, release the shift lock and shift the select lever to the "N" position.
    • For the power seat model, remove the console box before removing the ground terminal from the 12V engine restart battery sensor.
  2. Remove the cover assembly - front and the console box assembly. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CONSOLE BOX>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the cover assembly - instrument panel LWR driver INN. (When removing LH side) Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER COVER>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the pocket assembly and the back panel - pocket. (When removing RH side) Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>GLOVE BOX>REMOVAL .
  5. Remove the duct - rear heater front.
    1. Remove the slide lock.
    2. Release the claws, and remove the duct - rear heater front.
