Resolver Sensor Harness

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
WARNING: The hybrid system includes a high voltage circuit. Mishandling could cause accidents such as electric shock or leak. Always check "WARNING (HYBRID SYSTEM)" and perform the proper operation. Ref. to PRECAUTION/WARNING>Warning (HYBRID SYSTEM) .
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the service disconnect plug. Ref. to HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE>SERVICE PLUG>REMOVAL .
    WARNING: After removal of the service disconnect plug, the condenser inside the inverter still has been charged to a high voltage. Wait for at least 10 minutes before handling the high voltage components, wiring, terminals or connectors.
  3. Remove the propeller shaft. Ref. to DRIVE SHAFT SYSTEM>PROPELLER SHAFT>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the floor under protector RH. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FLOOR UNDER PROTECTOR>REMOVAL .
  5. Use the transmission jack and lower the inverter with converter assembly to a position where the resolver sensor harness can be removed. Ref. to HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE>INVERTER AND CONVERTER ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL .
    NOTE: Perform only the work necessary to lower the inverter with converter assembly.
  6. Remove the cord cover clips.

  7. Disconnect the resolver sensor harness from the inhibitor harness connector.

  8. Remove the bolt and clip (A) shown in the figure, and remove the resolver sensor harness.
