Differential Gear Oil: Replacement

CAUTION:
Vehicle components are extremely hot immediately after driving. Be wary of receiving burns from heated parts.
- Remove the filler plug (A).
- Drain the differential gear oil by removing drain plug (B) using TORX® bit T70.
- Remove the iron powder, etc. from the drain plug.
- Attach the drain plug (B) using a new gasket, using TORX® bit T70.
Tightening torque:
70 N.m (7.1 kgf-m, 51.6 ft-lb)
- Remove the overflow plug (C).
- Add differential gear oil through the filler plug hole, and let the oil flow out of the overflow plug hole.

Differential gear oil capacity:

- Check the differential gear oil level. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TH2A)>DIFFERENTIAL GEAR OIL>INSPECTION .
