Air Inlet Selection Indicator Blinks

Trouble symptom: 

Air inlet selection indicator blinks.

Trouble causes: 

Setting is reset to the factory settings due to A/C panel replacement.

CAUTION: Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (DIAGNOSTICS) (HEV)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .

  1. PERFORM EXPANSION VALVE STEPPER MOTOR INITIALIZATION  .
    1. Leave the vehicle under the condition at ambient temperature of 15°C (59°F) or more.
    2. Turn to READY ON.
    3. Turn MAX A/C switch to ON.
    4. Wait at least 30 seconds.

    Does the compressor operate?

    Yes  : Turn the ignition switch to OFF. (This allows the initialization information to be stored.)

    No  : Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (DIAGNOSTICS) (HEV)>DIAGNOSTICS WITH PHENOMENON>INSPECTION>COLD AIR DOES NOT COME OUT EVEN WHEN THE A/C SWITCH IS PRESSED. THE GLASS CANNOT BE DEFOGGED. (COMPRESSOR DOES NOT OPERATE (ELECTRIC)) .
