Wiring diagram:
Air conditioning system Ref. to WIRING SYSTEM (CROSSTREK MODEL (HEV)>AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM>WIRING DIAGRAM .
- CHECK CONNECTOR
.
- Check connecting condition of the A/C control panel connector and air mix door actuator connector.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Read the DTC of [Air Conditioner] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (DIAGNOSTICS) (HEV)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
Is DTC B1442 displayed? (Current malfunction)
Yes : Go to 2.
No : Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time.
Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.
NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause. - CHECK AIR MIX DOOR ACTUATOR
.
- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Disconnect the air mix door actuator.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Read the DTC of [Air Conditioner] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (DIAGNOSTICS) (HEV)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
Is DTC B1440 displayed? (Current malfunction)
Yes : Replace the air mix door actuator. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (HEV)>AIR MIX DOOR ACTUATOR .
No : Go to 3.
- CHECK HARNESS (SHORTED BETWEEN LINES AND SHORTED TO GROUND)
.
- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Disconnect the connector from the A/C control panel.
- Using a tester, check the continuity between terminals in air mix door actuator connector and between air mix door actuator connector and chassis ground.
